Estate Planning

In Ancient Rome, Julius Caesar left a will that made his grand-nephew, Octavian, his primary beneficiary and helped position him as Caesar’s successor. Octavian later established the Roman Empire and became its first emperor, Caesar Augustus.

Death raises many questions. Probate is a process that seeks to legally answer some of those questions and, when possible, to authenticate a valid will. The law does not allow many assumptions when a person dies, so leaving a will dramatically simplifies the probate process.

Every state handles wills and probate in its own way. We follow Texas law when preparing and probating wills.
